Great River Greenways Adventure Map Series
We are excited to share the launch of two family trail maps for Great Rivers Greenway, an organization in the St. Louis metro area devoted to making that region a more vibrant place to live, work and play by developing a network of greenways to explore and enjoy. The maps focus on two different greenway sections, and include ecological, historical, and cultural information, as well as place based activity designed to encourage hands-on learning for kids.
Map Details:
The River des Peres Greenway Adventure Map includes activities about urban watersheds and clean waterways, bird ecology, sensory activities, the river's history since its creation during the Ice Age.
The St Vincent Greenway Adventure Map explores a section of the greenway with several different kinds of habitats. It includes activities and material related to birds, trees, historical buildings and plantings, and close looking.
